To view and download apps, adhere to these instructions.
Press thedigital crownon the Apple Watch to display your apps, and then select theApp Store.
Select an app to open its information screen.
On the iPhone, tap theWatchapp to launch it.
Select theMy Watchtab at the bottom if it’s not selected.
TapInstallnext to any app you want to install on your Watch.
First, the App Store page for the app includes this information.
Second, search through the Watch app on your iPhone.
kick off the Watch app on the iPhone and tap the App Store tab to access it.
Not every app can be deleted.
Tap thedigital crownto display the apps.
Tap and hold the app you want to delete.
All the apps start to wiggle.
Select theXin the corner of the app you want to delete.
Press thecrownto stop the apps from wiggling.
In watchOS 5 and earlier, this is the only option.
In the Watch app, tap theMy Watchtab at the bottom if it’s not selected.
In theInstalled on Apple Watchsection, find the app you want to remove.
Move theShow App on Apple Watchslider to off/white to delete the app from your Watch.
The app stays on your iPhone (unless you delete the iPhone app, too).
It can be downloaded to the Apple Watch again using the first section of this article’s steps.
This option only works in the Grid View.
The List View will always arrange apps alphabetically.
Press thedigital crownto display the app arrangement.
Press an app until all the apps start to wiggle.
While the apps are wiggling, touch an app and drag it to a new position.
Repeat the process with other apps.
Press thedigital crownagain to stop the wiggling apps.
Open theWatchapp on the iPhone.
TapApp Layouton theMy Watchtab.
The app grid on the Watch displays.
Drag app icons to your preferred new arrangement.
When you’re done, tapMy Watchin the upper-left corner.
The new arrangement is saved and applied automatically.
A pop-up appears asking you if you want Grid View or List View.
Do I Need to Download Apps Separately?
You don’t always need to stick to this.
If you tapFavorites, new options appear.
Your Favorite apps are listed in one section, with all other available apps in another.
Tap thered icon in front of any app to remove it from Favorites.
Tap thegreen +icon to add an app to Favorites.
Drag and drop using the three-line icon to rearrange apps.
TapDoneto store your Favorites.
