Be extremely careful which files you delete from the Library folder.

In theFinder, holdOptionwhile clicking theGomenu.
Another window will open with the Library folder selected.
The Caches folder will have a lot of subfolders in it.
For example,you shouldn’t touch anything with that starts withcom.apple.
Instead, look for apps you don’t use anymore and delete those.
Just verify you know exactly what you’re deleting before you send anything to the trash.
To find them, go toLibrary>app Support>MobileSync, and you’ll see aBackupsfolder.
Backups may appear under their own category in System Storage instead of “Other.”
What Else Can You Remove From “Other” Storage?
Select a message and chooseRemove Attachmentsto delete space-hogging attachments.
To do this, go toMail>Preferences>Accounts.
hit the account, chooseAdvanced, and choose a shorter storage timeframe.
