In this way, it’s possible for you to use both services from one interface.

By default, GMX disablesIMAPand POP3 access for security reasons.

So, you have to manually enable them first.

OpenGMXand sign in, then selectSettingsfrom the menu to the left of the screen.

On theSettingspage, locatePOP3 & IMAPfrom the left menu and choose it.

You’ll arrive on a page with information about POP and IMAP usage.

SelectEnable access to this account via POP3 and IMAP.

Once you do, pressSaveto make the change permanent.

To set up POP access to a GMX Mail account in Gmail:

jump in to your Gmail account.

Select theSettingsgear in the upper-right corner.

ChooseSee all settingsfrom the menu.

On the Gmail prefs page, select theAccounts and Importtab.

On the Accounts and Import tab, selectImport mail and contacts.

A new window will pop open.

input your GMX Mail address (“example@gmx.com,” for instance).

When you’re done, pressContinue.

On the next screen, key in your GMX Mail password underPassword, and pressContinueagain.

Gmail will sign in to your GMX account.

Then, it’ll present you with a couple of options for what to sync.

Select what you want, and pressStart Import.

You’ll return to theAccounts and Importsettings page.
