That means your Galaxy display might appear warmer or more yellow when the feature is turned on.
This results from the reduction in blue light (which appears brighter and more white).

Here’s how to turn the feature on or off.
Tap the toggle to the right ofEye comfort shieldto turn it on or off.
If the feature is turned off the toggle button will be gray.

You’ll likely immediately notice a difference in the color of your Galaxy screen.
Newer Samsung Galaxy phones don’t have a night mode.
They do, however, have a Dark Mode.
Tap the toggle belowDarkto turn on Dark Mode.
To adjust your schedule for Dark Mode, tapDark mode settingsand then toggle onTurn on asscheduled.
On the page that opens, toggle onTurn on as scheduledand then chooseSunset to sunriseorCustom schedule.
This utilizes Android night mode originally introduced inAndroidPie.
It can make your phone less bright during the night and easier to read.
However, night mode does not work across all apps.
Eye Comfort Shield affects the screen’s output.
Its benefit is that it works universally because it doesn’t rely on apps that follow guidelines.
It just reduces blue light output regardless of what is on your screen.
Both modes may help with eye strain and light sensitivity during dark hours.
