When offered the chance to test theArzopa Z1RC Portable Monitor, I was ready to give it a shot.
It’s a 2.5K QHD display, so I had big expectations for the display.

When I learned that I could connect it to my iPad, I (of course) did.
What that means is that it draws power from the gadget it’s connected to.
In the case of the laptop or tablet, it will draw power from them.

Other devices, however, may need a second connection to ensure that the tablet is fully powered.
I didn’t try either combination, but it’s something to keep in mind.
I had the gadget unpackaged, connected, and adjusted in less than 5 minutes.

Let’s talk about the picture on the Z1RC.
The image displayed was darker than I would have wanted, especially for a QHD display.
The kickstand on the Z1RC isn’t quite as substantial as others I’ve tested, either.

Is the Arpoza Z1RC Portable Monitor Worth It?
This is the third portable monitor that I’ve tried.
But is this specific one worth the cost?
It also has a full 16-inch screen while weighing about the same as the others I’ve tested.
And there are the speakers, which isn’t that common in this space.
