If you don’t see the notification, go through this:

Open theGoogle app.

Go to theAssistanttab, then scroll down and tapPhone.

In the Personalization section, tapAmbient Modeto enable it.

Plug your phone into the charger.

Your gear will enter Ambient Mode.

You also need at least Android 8.0 to support Ambient Mode.

pop swing open the Google Home app, tap your Chromecast, and then tapSettings(gear icon).

Scroll down and tapAmbient Mode.
