I hate paying for streamingand cable, so I don’t.

I know, it’s weird.

But TV isn’t that important to me.

So, cable subscriptions just aren’t on the table when I want to watch something.

That’s when I said enough is enough and started investigating ways to watch TV and movies for free.

I use them all.

I can even stream premium channels for free because they’re included as a “perk” in other services I subscribe to.Tech Daily / Unsplash

But the real magic for me is in the TV services that are less talked about.

Let’s call them OS Streaming Services (though the proper term for them is digital distribution services).

Initially, it wasSamsung TV, which comes installed on.. well, Samsung TVs.

It’s great and offers a lot of entertainment for free.

For example, one channel I stream a lot just to have noise is Ion.

Sure, the shows on Ion aren’t new, but I don’t really care about that.

These OS Streaming Services make up the bulk of what I watch.

But they don’t cover everything, like newer release shows and movies.

That covers a pretty sizeable chunk of the streaming services I used to pay for.

Now, I don’t have a separate bill for them.

They’re included in services that I’m using anyway.

I mean, why would anyone want to pay more when you get it all for free?
