Select theGearicon in the upper-right corner of the Gmail screen.
ChooseSee all settingsfrom the drop-down menu that appears.
Go to theForwarding and POP/IMAPtab.
In theForwardingsection, selectAdd a forwarding address.
Enter the email address you want to forward future Gmail messages to and then selectNext.
SelectProceedin the pop-up window, then selectOK.
Gmail sends a confirmation email to the address you want to forward to.
Open it and go for the link to confirm the request.
SelectForward a copy of incoming mail to.
choose the field next toWhen messages are accessed with POPto tell Gmail what to do with forwarded messages.
How to Disable Gmail Forwarding
To turn off automatic forwarding, reverse the steps you took above.
Select theGearicon in the upper-right corner and chooseSee All Settingsfrom the drop-down menu that appears.
Go to theForwarding and POP/IMAPtab and selectDisable forwarding.
SelectSave Changesat the bottom of the screen.
