Correcting the Error

First, check yourXbox networkaccount status.

Look for expired credit cards or other problems that might be causing an error.

Next, delete the bad profile.

Try these solutions if you are still having issues.

flush the Xbox hard drive cache.

From the Dashboard, go to the System menu, selectMemoryand thenHard Drive.

Press theYbutton and chooseClear Cache.

Clear failed updatesfrom the cache.

Turn off the Xbox 360.

While holding theSyncbutton next to the memory unit slots, turn on the Xbox.

This will wipe the download queue and restart failed downloads.

Check that the problem is not on your router.

Attempt to update and see if it completes successfully.

If it does, reconnect to your router.

You may need to check your router and its prefs.
