Export Contacts Directly to CSV Format
Exporting information contained in the Contacts utility requires a helper utility.
Some paid helper apps, such asAB2CSVandAddress Book to CSV,are available in the Mac App Store.
Others are available from third-party vendors.

DownloadAB2CSVfrom the Mac App Storethe price is $0.99and launch it.
SelectModein the AB2CSV menu bar and clickCSVin the drop-down menu.
To configure which fields to export, go toAB2CSVin the menu bar and selectPreferencesin the drop-down menu.

ClickOKin the pop-up window that asks you to grant the app access to your contacts.
snag the fields you want to export by checking the boxes in front of the categories.
ClickFileon the menu bar followed byExport.

Pick a location for the CSV file.
It will have a .csv extension.
To do that, you first have to create the vCard file.

Open theContactsapplication from theDockor theApplicationsfolder.
Choose the list in the left pane that you want to export, such asAll Contacts.
From theContactsmenu bar, select theFile>Export>Export vCard.

Name the exported list of contacts and choose a location for the file.
Upload your VCF file to the website and selectCSVas the output format.
Click theConvert Nowbutton when you’re done to make the CSV file.
