Instructions apply to smartphones running Android 11 and newer.
Samsung phones have a Do Not Disturb modethat works a bit differently from stock Android.
With two fingers, swipe down the screen from the top to see all the Quick options tiles.

TapDo Not Disturbto toggle this feature on.
The other way to use Do Not Disturb is through options:
Open theSettingsapp.
Scroll down and chooseDo Not Disturb.

TapTurn on nowto switch DND on.
Go toSettings>Sound & vibration>Do Not Disturbto access all the different options.
TapPeopleto manage DND configs for calls and messages.

TapMessagesto control which contacts (if any) can bypass Do Not Disturb when they text you.
By default, repeat callers are allowed; to change that, tapCallsand turn offAllow repeat callers.
TapAlarms & other interruptionsto manage other Do Not Disturb exceptions.

Alarms and media sounds are turned on by default.
This option also controls whether touch sounds, reminders, and calendar events can get through.

To manage notification configs for DND, tapDisplay options for filtered notifications.
Tap theSettingsicon next to Custom for additional options.
The mode also supports custom rules based on an event or time of day.

Go toSettings>Sound & vibration>Do Not Disturb>Schedules.
To turn on DND during events on yourGoogle Calendar, tapEventand turn onUse schedule.
Give it a name and then choose the days and start/end times.
Other options are also available, like silencing alarms and allowing reminders.
What Is Do Not Disturb?
Do Not Disturb is a feature built into most phones that lets you easily pause all or most notifications.
Since its introduction, Do Not Disturb has been refined in every Android update.
