Not so with these new Apple Airpods 4.
These have decent noise cancellation, but they’re way more comfortable to keep in my ears over time.
I wore them as I wrote this review, listening to a dance playlist to keep my energy up.

The ANC is just fine for most applications.
Super-loud sounds can overwhelm the ANC.
They aren’t as good at ANC as earbuds with silicone tips.

They slide into your ear without any effort andat least in my experiencenever need much adjustment.
The moment the ANC kicks in is pretty fascinating.

Press twice to end a call or skip forward.

Honestly, everyone should have a pair of these go-to AirPods.
Honestly, it’s so much fun to play with that it’s kind of worth the extra cash.
Plus, you get wireless charging and Adaptive Audio/Transparency mode as well.
