If resetting the rig doesn’t fix your screen, it must be repaired.

If yourphone’s screen is black and white, check your accessibility controls and turn off Power-saving mode.

A quick reboot can fix many temporary software errors.

If the glass feels grimy, give it a light scrub with a damp cotton cloth.

Adjust your screen brightness.

Your phone’s screen might be too bright or not bright enough for your environment.

Swipe down and move the brightness slider in the quick prefs menu.

Also, check your options to turn off Night Light or any other blue light filters your unit supports.

Adjust the screen resolution.

Open your gear’s configs and search forresolution.

Choose the highest option if you see options to change the screen resolution.

If you seeSmartorSmart resolutionas an option, turn it off.

Try a different app.

If not, the app may be incompatible with your gadget.

This will erase everything on your gear, so back up anything you want to save.

Get your equipment professionally repaired.

If your machine is still under warranty, you might be able to get it fixed for free.

If it’s still happening, change the brightness setting to see if that helps.

Assuming the app you are using supports screen rotation, then your screen auto rotation is probably turned off.

Head over toQuick Settingsto turn it back on.

If that didn’t do it, restart the phone.
